Completion mark: one completed practice
You explicitly mark a completed practice for the eligible day. This tracking method uses a daily goal period.
- Completing checklist actions enables you to mark the habit as done. You must still confirm that mark yourself.
Add completed repetitions
Record how many repetitions you complete. These values add up toward the target or maximum, such as the number of practice rounds completed.
Duration: record minutes
A duration habit adds recorded minutes. Separate entries within the goal period contribute to the same total.
- A session can prefill active minutes, but logging still needs your confirmation.
Quantity: choose a meaningful unit
Use a quantity habit for values such as pages or kilometres. Enter the unit and target that make the goal understandable.
Reach the chosen target
Recorded values add up until they reach the goal. The goal can succeed before its calendar period ends.
Limit: stay within the chosen maximum
Entries record usage or occurrences. Exceeding the maximum resolves the period as unsuccessful; staying within it succeeds only when the period closes.
- An unfinished open period is not counted as a failure.
Daily goal: add today’s entries
The value goal applies to one calendar day in the habit’s stored time zone. A new goal period starts at the next day boundary.
Weekly goal: add this calendar week’s entries
Values add up within a calendar week. The first period begins on the habit’s start date. The target stays the same even if this first period contains fewer days.
Monthly goal: add this calendar month’s entries
Values accumulate within a calendar month. This does not mean the habit is shown only once a month.
Daily schedule: eligible each day
The schedule determines when the habit is actionable. The goal period separately determines which entries are added together.
Weekdays: practice Monday to Friday
The Habit is scheduled on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. A numeric weekly or monthly goal still adds entries over its own calendar period.
Weekends: practice Saturday and Sunday
The Habit is scheduled on Saturday and Sunday. The schedule chooses eligible days; it does not turn a weekly or monthly value goal into a daily goal.
Custom: fixed days within each week
In this example, Custom uses a one-week interval with Monday, Wednesday and Friday selected. These are fixed days, rather than any three days chosen during the week.
- In Mement, Custom also offers other intervals and calendar positions.
- The numeric goal period remains a separate setting.
