Try it in Mement

  1. Open Settings, General, AI Settings in Mement when that row is available. Read the status below AI in Mement. An unsupported system, ineligible device, disabled Apple Intelligence and a model still preparing require different next actions.
  2. Check Apple’s current Apple Intelligence requirements for your device, system, region and language. Enable Apple Intelligence in system settings. The device language and Siri language must match and be supported; the device may need Wi-Fi and power while its model downloads.
  3. In Mement, enable AI in Mement and the switch for the feature you want. Generative Features covers AI list generation, starter tasks, summaries and Analytics narratives. Automatic Suggestions, Ask Mement and Semantic Search have independent controls.
  4. Check Pro access for AI list generation, Analytics narratives or Project and Area summary actions in Shortcuts. Try a short harmless request after AI Settings shows that the model is ready. If it fails, keep the information you entered and record the exact message for support.

A Pro purchase does not make a device eligible.

Pro unlocks specific Mement features. Apple controls hardware, operating-system, language and regional availability, and the model must finish preparing. A website translation is not evidence that Apple Intelligence supports that language. If AI Settings is absent on an unsupported system, use manual editing and ordinary search while checking whether your device can meet Apple’s requirements.

Check the entry point’s own conditions.

Enter a title or notes for the List you want AI to generate. An in-app container summary needs at least one directly linked active or completed task. Ask Mement needs a query of at least three characters and an enabled setting on a supported system. If the language model cannot answer, Ask Mement can return a deterministic local-result summary. Ordinary parsing and manually entered dates, tags and priorities remain useful without generation.

Separate generation from voice permissions.

Siri, Shortcuts and CarPlay can involve additional system, microphone, Speech or local recognition requirements. Permission to record does not make a language model ready, and a ready model does not grant microphone permission. Report the entry point, app and system versions, device, language and status message. You can reproduce the issue with an invented task rather than sharing real plans.

Before you finish

  • Read the exact AI status and check Apple’s current requirements.
  • Check the master switch, feature switch and any Pro requirement.
  • Keep manual work and report the failing entry point and message.
