How Mement handles your data
Learn how Mement stores content, syncs devices and handles optional processing. See the full privacy policy for details.
Where Mement stores your content
Mement stores your planning content on your device and uses Apple iCloud/CloudKit for supported cross-device synchronization. You do not need a separate Mement account. iCloud sync and on-device AI are separate processes.
Choose whether to share analytics
Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics are not enabled until you choose to share analytics and diagnostics. Declining does not remove app features. You can change your choice in Settings. Mement’s own analytics events exclude task text, notes, location coordinates, Health data and personalized Twin values.
Ask Mement processes requests on your device
Ask Mement uses a local Spotlight index and on-device Foundation Models where supported. If generation is unavailable, Mement creates a local summary using fixed rules. It does not send your queries, matching content or answers to a developer-operated AI server or third-party model provider. Support depends on your device, operating system and language.
Health data and optional cloud processing
Raw Apple Health samples are not stored in Core Data, iCloud or Mement servers. Health-personalized Twin state stays in protected storage on your device. Weekend Missions has a separate, explicit opt-in for a minimized request to Apple Private Cloud Compute, with a local alternative. Health data and private task content are excluded from that request.

Contact Mement about privacyYour Weekend Missions data, explained
Weekend Missions keeps an editable Adventure Profile and published Mission History locally first, with private iCloud sync. Wishes for one request are temporary. Choosing PCC separately permits Apple to process the same bounded, relevant context categories used by the local model, including wishes, feedback preferences and location or forecast. The detailed explanation distinguishes storage, cloud processing and the public websites used during place research.
