Start with the afternoon you actually have

For this example, you enjoy architecture, music and museums. You want to get out on Sunday, travel by public transport and be home for dinner. You haven't chosen a destination. That is enough of a starting point; finding somewhere suitable is part of the feature's job.

Open Insights, then Missions. Your Adventure Profile holds the interests and practical preferences you want Mement to keep using. Save recurring travel preferences and any accessibility needs there. Ongoing wishes can explain what a picker misses, such as enjoying small exhibitions or preferring time to sit.

Keep all the interests you genuinely enjoy. Mement rotates the focus between them across requests unless this weekend's wishes ask for something else. You can leave the particular choice open.

Generation requires Mement Pro or an active trial and an available Apple model. During first setup, read Privacy and generation and choose an available model. Private Cloud Compute requires a separate explicit choice.

Give this Sunday its own wishes

The request screen shows that it is using your Adventure Profile. Expand Adjust this weekend and describe what is different this time. You can write in ordinary language; you do not need to name a venue or design the outing yourself.

For our Sunday, the useful details are the available time, the journey and what you feel like doing. A request might read:

Examples to adapt in your wishes

These are example requests you can edit. They are not generated missions.

  • I have Sunday afternoon free, from about 1 to 6, including travel. I'd like to see an exhibition or explore an interesting part of the city. I'll use public transport and would like time to sit down. Please suggest somewhere other than a park this time.

Let Mement find what you can do there

Choose where the search starts. Use your current location, or search for an area on the map if you will be somewhere else. This area is a starting point for the search; Mement still chooses the destination. Select No specific place when you deliberately want an at-home idea.

Tap Create my mission. Apple Intelligence works with your saved preferences and this request's wishes. Place research uses Apple Maps information and relevant public venue pages to look for a real activity, exhibition or route. The generation screen shows the stage currently running. You can close it to cancel.

Read the result as a proposed outing: where to go, what you will do and why it suits you. An exhibition visit or an interesting walk can be the whole experience. A mission does not need an extra challenge, a photo assignment or something to make.

See how the destination's weather affects the plan

For a place-based mission, the forecast in the details covers the mission window at the chosen destination. This matters if your outing takes you away from home. Look at the temperature, rain probability and wind alongside the suggested activity.

If conditions change describes how the outing could adapt. Read it before accepting, especially for an outdoor plan. The displayed forecast is the one retained with the mission; check a current forecast before you leave. Reopening the details does not promise a fresh weather request.

Decide whether this is how you want to spend Sunday

Before accepting, check the destination or route and the schedule. Could you follow the description without choosing another place or inventing the main activity? Why this fits should connect the suggestion to something you enjoy. Open the destination in Apple Maps when you want to inspect it there.

If the suggestion misses what you wanted, use Create another mission to return to the request and revise your wishes before generating. For example, if you wanted to hear music, say whether you mean a seated live performance or a visit connected with music. Not for me lets you give rejection feedback.

When the outing suits you, choose I'm in. The mission becomes your accepted plan. Closing its details leaves it accepted. The action for creating a replacement is no longer shown after acceptance.

Put preparation before the outing, and the outing in Calendar

Read Preparation while you still have time to act. If there is a booking or equipment to get ready, use the small Task button in that card. Mement opens its usual editor with the mission in the title and the preparation in Notes. Choose when to do it and save. Closing the editor without saving creates nothing.

After saving, that button opens the linked Task. If you edit and save its Notes, the Preparation card reflects the changes. When you keep no separate preparation Task, Mement can send its preparation reminder, subject to notification permission and the mission's timing.

Use the Calendar button beside the mission's date and time to open the system event editor. Review the time and save the event. You now have the outing in your schedule and, if needed, a separate Task to prepare for it.

Calendar does not book admission. Follow any required booking action and confirm time-sensitive visitor conditions before travelling. A price that public sources could not confirm still needs checking before you spend money.

Use what happened to improve the next suggestion

After the outing, open the mission and choose Mark completed. Mement saves completion, then offers an optional rating and reason. If the venue was enjoyable but the trip felt too long, choose the closest available reason. You can also skip the rating without undoing completion.

Learn from mission feedback starts enabled in the profile. Mement can use ratings and tentative preference notes in later requests, while your explicit choices remain authoritative. This supplies context to a future request; it does not train a personal Apple model.

The outing stays in Mission History, where you can reopen its details. Completing it is separate from completing Tasks and does not change productivity streaks or scores.

Keep the profile; change the next weekend

Next time, reuse the same Adventure Profile. A short wish can change the outing's direction without making you set everything up again:

Examples to adapt in your wishes

These are example requests you can edit. They are not generated missions.

  • This weekend I'd like to hear live music while seated. I'd prefer a short trip and an early finish.
  • I'd like a beginner pottery session with an instructor. Find a specific class and explain any booking or materials I need to arrange.
