Try it in Mement

  1. Use the same Apple Account on the devices whose plans you want to synchronize.
  2. Allow iCloud access for Mement where the system offers that setting, and connect both devices to the internet.
  3. Save a small change on one device. Open Mement on the other and allow time for it to arrive.
  4. Check the changed record itself, including its latest title or detail. Compare the active Space and filters if it is not visible.
  5. Continue working with available local records offline. Reconnect to let saved changes synchronize.
  6. Before replacing or removing a device, check important records on another device while the original remains available.

Check one real change between devices

For example, rename a Task to “Ask for the revised quote” on iPhone, save, and find that Task on Mac. The matching saved title is better evidence of synchronization than similar dashboard counts. Counts can depend on the current day, active Space, filters, and protected content.

iCloud delivers changes in the background on the system’s schedule. Keep both devices connected and open Mement when checking a recent change. A delay does not mean the local edit was lost. If other new records arrive but one change does not, note which record and device differ.

Continue with the information already on the device

Local Tasks, Lists, Projects, Areas, Habits, and imported icon artwork remain usable without a network connection. You can work with the saved information available on that device. Synchronization waits until connectivity returns.

On-device text processing and compatible on-device AI depend on the device and installed local resources. Searching for a new place or calculating a route can require network results. If the route preview is unavailable, keep your saved stops and try again when the needed service is available.

Understand which displays follow their own rules

Your plans and the current Session use private iCloud synchronization. You can start a Session on one device and control the same Session after its state reaches another. Remaining time is based on the synchronized state rather than a message sent every second.

A Live Activity belongs to the device showing it. Open or control the synchronized Session on another device to create its local presentation where supported. The Session arriving through iCloud does not by itself start every device’s Live Activity.

Imported icon packs keep local artwork and synchronize their pending changes. The Digital Twin has a different privacy boundary: its Health-personalized state stays on the device where it was calculated. Separate development progress calculated without Health data can synchronize. A difference in these displays should therefore be checked in the context of that feature.

If a change is still missing

First confirm that the original edit was saved. Check the Apple Account and network on both devices, then search for the specific record outside a restrictive Space or filter. Open its details and compare the last change. If the app is correct but a widget is stale, follow the widget checks instead.

Keep the device with the newest correct copy available. Contact support before signing out, reinstalling, or clearing that copy. Include both device and app versions, when you saved the change, and whether other records are synchronizing.

iCloud synchronization carries changes between devices; it is not a browsable history of every previous version. Shared cards and Analytics PDFs serve other purposes too. Check important data on the replacement device before removing the original.

Before you finish

  • Both devices use the intended Apple Account and have iCloud access.
  • A specific saved edit has arrived, rather than only similar counts.
  • The newest correct copy remains available until any mismatch is resolved.
