Try it in Mement

  1. Open the task and expand Date & Time. Check the day, time and Repeat rule, then save. A note mentioning a deadline does not create a reminder by itself.
  2. In the device’s system notification settings, find Mement. Allow notifications and check the alert locations and sound you want. Review whether a scheduled notification summary is delaying delivery.
  3. Check the active Focus or Do Not Disturb settings. Allow Mement when you want its alerts during that Focus. If you use a Time-sensitive notification, review the system permission for that category as well.
  4. Create a harmless test task with an explicit time a few minutes ahead and save it. After allowing notifications, leave Mement and wait for the test. Note whether the alert appears, is silent or arrives later.

Check the schedule before changing system settings.

Confirm the intended Solar or Lunar calendar in the Date & Time header if you switched it. Recurring tasks need the intended occurrence and repeat rule. Setting both a date and an explicit time makes a test easier to interpret. Security notification hides private preview details; it is not a delivery permission. A reminder with hidden text may still have arrived in Notification Centre.

Understand Time-sensitive notification.

This Pro option appears after you select a date or time on iPhone, iPad and Mac Catalyst. It can pass through a Focus only when system settings allow it; silent mode still applies. The option is hidden in native visionOS and Apple TV editors. Use an ordinary scheduled reminder for the first test so its result does not depend on this extra setting. Without a date or time, ordinary editors show “Biometric Lock” as a row. Adding a schedule turns its icon into a circle beside the notification options. Habit editors show all four circles in “Schedule” immediately, including without a custom time. Swipe horizontally across the circles to enable the options you touch; vertical scrolling leaves them unchanged. Hold for help. Tap “Repeat” to choose an interval or turn follow-up off. Lock · Time Sensitive · Private · Repeat.

If the test still fails.

Reopen Mement and confirm the test is saved with the expected schedule. Check Apple’s notification guidance for your device. Contact support with the app and system versions, device model, expected local time and what happened during the test. You can use a harmless test title instead of sharing private task content.

Check the weather rule

Notification permission is only part of checking a weather reminder. Review whether the rule is active, the forecast location, time or lead time, repeats and whether the forecast matches its conditions.

A forecast that does not match deliberately skips the notification. Missing data is not treated as a match. Open Mement with network access to let it refresh the forecast. The system decides when background execution is available, and an already scheduled notification does not fetch new weather itself when it appears.

Arrival needs a saved place and appropriate permissions. If the forecast did not match when you entered, refreshing the weather while you remain inside does not create a later notification for that same arrival.
