Work through a problem one step at a time Find the matching symptom, test the likely cause, and keep the latest correct data while you investigate. Try it in Mement 1. Choose the symptom below and identify one record or action that demonstrates it. 2. Open the source record in Mement and inspect what was actually saved. 3. Follow the matching checks, changing one relevant setting at a time. 4. Run the suggested small test and compare its result with the original symptom. 5. If the problem remains, keep the newest correct copy and contact support with the versions, steps, and test result. A Task or container is missing Search for a distinctive part of its title. If search finds it, open the record and check whether it is completed, deleted, or outside your current Space. Remove a restrictive tag or status filter when checking its ordinary list. If it is in Completed or Deleted, use the relevant reopen or restore action and check its parent. If it exists only on another device, keep that device available and follow the iCloud checks below before recreating or removing anything. The check succeeds when you can open the expected record and see its saved details. If you still cannot find it, tell support where it was last visible and which devices you checked. A Habit is absent from Today Open All habits and find the Habit. If it is paused, archived, or has a future start date, Today may be correctly excluding it. Inspect its state and schedule before changing it. If it is active, check the start date, Schedule rule, and any Skip today entry. For an older Habit with a flexible weekly quota, also check whether that quota has been met. If all Habits disappear together, inspect Show habits in the active Space; this affects both the Habits tab and Today. After a deliberate correction, reopen Today and check that the Habit appears when its schedule makes it actionable. Task recurrence is a different setting and will not fix a Habit schedule. Habit progress will not save Open the Habit and check whether it is active and actionable today. If it has a checklist, complete the required actions, then use Check in or Log progress. Checking the last box enables the final action; it does not itself record progress. For a numeric metric, enter a positive amount in the correct unit and confirm. If you cancelled the Habit Log opened by a Session, return to that paused Session and retry the outcome. Stop Session ends the timer without logging Habit progress. Confirm success in the Habit history. If the entry is missing, note the metric, schedule, entered amount, and whether the action came from the app, a widget, a Shortcut, or a Session. A Smart collection includes an unexpected record Open Smart → Edit and inspect the selected content kinds, All or Any, and each active condition. If you intended every condition to hold, choose All. Under Any, one matching condition can include a record even when another fails. If the record still appears, inspect Linked. A manually included record can remain without matching the Smart filter. Removing its manual link can still leave it in the collection when it matches automatically. The combined collection shows each record once. Test one record against each condition and its manual membership. This identifies whether you should change a filter or a link. Completion Status and GTD Status are separate choices. A reminder did not arrive Open the record and check its saved date, time, and reminder. If there is no reminder at the intended time, correct the schedule and save. A high priority alone does not schedule a notification. If the reminder is saved correctly, inspect Mement in the system notification settings. Allow the presentation you need, and check Focus and scheduled notification summaries for delays. If you use the Pro Time Sensitive option, inspect that setting on the supported device too. Test a harmless Task with a reminder a few minutes ahead. If it arrives, compare its settings with the original record. If it does not, check Notification Center and send support the saved schedule, device, versions, and whether the reminder appeared late. A widget shows old or different information Open Mement first. If the source record is also wrong, correct or investigate that record. If the app is right, check the widget’s chosen List or GTD status, active Space, and any system Focus List selection. If the missing record is protected, its absence can be expected on an external surface. If the configuration and privacy allow it, give the system time to refresh. Remove and add the widget again if it remains stale. Compare the changed record after refreshing. If the widget still differs, report its type, size, configuration, and the exact source change. A Session Live Activity should also be compared with the Session inside the app. A place reminder does not trigger Open the record and inspect the saved place, enabled reminder, and radius. If you typed a search but never selected a result, choose the actual location on the map or from search and save. If the place is correct, check system Location access and notification permission. Inspect precise location where needed. A device or platform without the relevant location monitoring cannot deliver the same trigger as a supported iPhone. Recheck the saved point after editing it. If a supported device still fails to notify, report the device, permission states, radius, and arrival test. Share only the location detail needed to explain the problem. A route preview or arrival alert is missing In Nearby → Map, check that each intended Task is active and has a saved coordinate. If the map has your stops but no preview, check that the current location is available. A preview also needs a successful route calculation. If the preview remains unavailable, try Open in Maps with your selected stops. For arrival alerts, check that the Maps handoff succeeded and that location and notification access are available. These alerts are not scheduled on Mac Catalyst or visionOS. If some stops have no alert, the device’s available location-monitoring capacity may matter. A stored active route also expires after 24 hours. Rebuild the current plan when needed and distinguish a failed preview, failed Maps opening, and missing notification in your report. Siri or a Shortcut produces the wrong result Run the same shortcut directly in Apple Shortcuts. If it works there, check the Siri phrase, language, and system support. If the direct run also differs, inspect the selected action and its parameters. Choose the intended record, parent, and Space explicitly. Test again and open the saved result in Mement. For an action absent from the suggested tiles, search through Add Action; the suggested set is smaller than the full catalog. If the result is still wrong, report the exact Mement action, relevant parameters, and direct-run result. New Reminders assistant actions have their own supported field mapping; identify that specific action when it is involved. An AI action is unavailable or fails Identify the action: List generation, text parsing, an Analytics explanation, or Ask Mement. Check its displayed availability reason, supported device, system and language, local model resources, Mement AI setting, and any Pro requirement. If the action starts but fails, try a short non-sensitive example in that same action. If it is disabled before starting, resolve the displayed requirement first. Ask Mement also needs a query of at least three characters after trimming spaces and relevant local indexed records. Ask Mement can summarize local search matches without the generative model, so a working Ask answer does not establish List-generation availability. Protected records are excluded. Report whether the problem is an unavailable control, empty search, or error after generation begins. A Session differs between devices Open the current Session inside Mement on both devices. If the saved Session matches but one Lock Screen display differs, investigate that local Live Activity instead of starting another timer. If the Session itself differs, check the same Apple Account, connection, and recent synchronization. Keep the device with the latest correct state available. A Live Activity may need the Session opened or controlled locally; iCloud does not start every device’s activity automatically. After the connection returns, compare the current phase and timer again. If they remain inconsistent, report start, pause, resume, and end times together with device and app versions. An icon pack cannot import or synchronize For import, choose an unpacked folder or SVG and PNG files. If you supplied a ZIP, unpack it first. Check the file count and size limits shown for import. One invalid image can prevent the import from being saved. If the pack exists locally but not elsewhere, check the account and the pack’s Waiting to sync or Sync conflict state. Open Mement on both devices. For a conflict, identify the correct source before reimporting. If an item shows a neutral icon, check whether only its artwork is missing; the record may still be intact. Report the import error or sync state and file characteristics. Private artwork is not needed unless you choose to provide an example. Imported reminders are missing or unorganized Open Settings → Data Imports → Apple Reminders and inspect the result of the import. If some items failed, distinguish them from skipped completed or already linked reminders. Check the selected source lists before retrying. If the Tasks exist but their structure does not, the organization step may have been skipped or its save may have failed. Open the offered organization action when available, inspect the proposed parents, and choose Save structure. Continue without organizing keeps the imported Tasks. After saving, open one imported Task and check its parent. If the error remains, say whether it concerns source selection, import, structure saving, or later synchronization with the dedicated list. Pro access or an iCloud change is missing For Pro, check the Apple Account used for the purchase and run Restore purchases. If the restore succeeds but one feature is unavailable, check that feature’s system and language requirements. If all access remains missing, contact support before paying again. For iCloud, identify the device with the saved change, then compare the same record on the other device. Check account, network, active Space, and filters. If other new records synchronize, include that useful distinction in your report. Keep the newest correct data available. Send versions, timing, the exact action, and what the test showed before reinstalling or clearing the only copy. Before you finish [ ] The specific symptom and source record have been identified. [ ] A small test shows what works and what still fails. [ ] The newest correct copy is preserved and the report includes actionable details.
