Find your plans on Home and Today Use Home to reach the right part of your workspace and Today to work through the Tasks and Habits due now. Try it in Mement 1. Start on Home and open Today to see the current day’s Tasks and Habits. 2. Open a Task to inspect its details, or record a Habit through its own progress controls. 3. Return to Home and choose the view you need: all records, Nearby, recurring, completed, or deleted work. 4. Expand the Areas, Projects, Lists, Tasks, or Tags section you want to browse. 5. If the expected work is missing, check the Active Space and the record’s completion or deletion state. Choose a view for the question you have Home combines quick-access cards with your Areas, Projects, Lists, Tasks, and Tags. Today answers “What is planned for this day?” Nearby helps with located Tasks. Recurring brings repeated work together; Completed and Deleted help you find work that has left the active lists. With GTD off, All opens your Task, List, Project, and Area inventory. Its Scheduled and Anytime figures distinguish records with a date from those without one. When you turn GTD on, Workflow takes that place and adds All items plus the five GTD status views. These status counts describe classification, independently of dates. For example, open a Project from Home to review its result and contents. Open Today when you want to work through today’s selection across Projects. You are reaching the same saved records through different views. The “Deleted” card appears when the current scope has deleted items and updates after deletion, restoration or permanent removal. Tasks and Habits have different progress Today shows Habits above Tasks. A Task has its own completion state. A Habit’s progress comes from the entries you record against its goal and period. Completing a Habit checklist item prepares that activity; it does not by itself record the Habit’s result. The Habits tab also offers Today and All habits views for managing your full Habit collection. A Space’s Show habits setting can hide both that tab and the Habits section in Today without deleting the Habits or their history. If “Read 20 pages” is a Habit, record the pages through its logging flow. If “Return the library book” is a Task, mark that Task done after returning it. Both can appear in your day without sharing a progress counter. When a record seems to be missing Check the Active Space first. It may be showing only Work or Home records. Return to the whole workspace to look more broadly, then check whether the record was completed or deleted. For a missing Habit, also inspect Show habits in the selected Space. Nearby lists active Tasks with confirmed places. Its optional Radius setting narrows the list and the matching Home count; a label beside the count identifies that radius. This can explain why a Task remains elsewhere in Mement but is absent from the nearby list. Read Session and widget information in context The current Session remains available from Home even when its record is outside the Active Space. Use that card to return to the same synchronized Session. A locked record keeps a private label until you unlock it. Widget counts can differ from unlocked in-app views because widgets omit protected records and may use a separately selected Focus List. Compare the view and its filters before assuming that a different count means lost work. Before you finish [ ] The selected view matches what you want to find or do. [ ] The Active Space includes the plans you expect to see. [ ] Habit logging, Task completion, and Session time are interpreted separately.
